    Describe acting up.

Generally, you can figure out by playing with with the rod where it adjusts. Essentially you should be able to "loosen" it enough to get hand tight, when it pushes the peddle away from the firewall. Just hand tight. Don't go crazy. And it SHOULD be happy there.

It will go into gear but it's hard to. And if you go into gear very slowly it starts grinding

How many miles on this clutch? It's not the original from 96 is it?

A clutch that has a difficult time engaging/disengaging like you're describing (I think) sounds like a worn out clutch to me

I'm not real sure how many miles it has I bought the truck 2 weeks ago so I don't have to drive my tundra everywhere. But so far the only gear it dose it in are 1st, 4th, and reverse

1st and reverse do not have synchros, 4th does and usually is not the first gear to be lost.

Have you fixed your peddle adjustment yet? Can you verify the clutch fork moves when you push the peddle? If you have, it could indicate it is time to do the clutch, or even dig into the trans to find the issue.

I had that issue on my transmission. Feels like it won't disengage all the way. Throw out bearing was going out for me.
