It has been proved that the Lexus IS300 engine is exactly the same as a IS350 engine, the only difference is the tune. they both make the same power once tuned, but the IS350 costs a few grand more!

hoping this engine will be the same way.

Sure... it could... IF; but, it looks like almost all their tunes have peak HP rpm ~same as stock (from IG photos). So, revving out past 6200 is unlikely to unlock any potential... especially since it sounds like no one has confirmed that it would not damage the motor. We'll see what happens soon.

Surely, the Tacoma intake is optimized for low end torque (vs Lexus)... like the Prado which does have the ~same specs at the ~same rpm as the Tacoma, unlike the Lexus. Prado has more torque on 87 at and below ~2000 rpm than the Lexus on 91. This post has Lexus and Prado curves: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-speed-auto-trans.496367/page-5#post-15396354

    Any bets on HP Gains?

I don't think we will see anything higher than the RC 350, which is actually good.

Are we really counting down to the minute? I'm sure they won't be posting and keeping tabs while on the dyno, give them time to get results and share it. I'd wait until the end of the day for dyno charts, videos, etc.

So glad to see data on this... love all the dealers and folks from Toyota dismissing cleaning the MAF as crazy on a new truck. Agree it should be, but now there is DATA to prove it. Thank you!

Kinda sucks it doesn't have stock wheels and tires for a better baseline. Stock numbers will be lower bc of the heavier and larger diameter tires
