New England B.S. Thread

I'd be bored sitting at a bar that long. When I was 21, I was usually at someone's party.

 

I actually drank more in high school than I did in college, and more in college than I do now.
High school it was nothing to polish off a 30 rack on a weekend at pit parties/bonfires, then in college I had fewer funds so I had to plan my drinking more carefully, lol.
Then once I got out of college I wasn't around people that wanted to party every night any more, so my drinking fell off a cliff after that. Probably just as well, for my liver's sake. Now I mostly just have a beer before/with dinner most nights, or a mixed drink of some sort. Sometimes some sippin' whisky or a nice aged rum in the evening.

 

I used to drink a lot of hard stuff in my late teens/early 20s. Somewhere along the line I started to prefer beer. It has to be good beer though. I can't drink watered down beer.

 

That really sounds like something I would do...

I'm too southern for NE. I'll walk in to a bar knowing no one, and walk out with a crew of 10 people acting like lifelong friends. So I tend to entertain myself haha

 

If I'm not drunk later I will be playing with my new toy

 

I need a welder in my life.

 

Does that helmet/filter meet ANSI Z87???? etc etc

 

Yes it's pretty decent for 85 bucks but I believe you work somewhere right? Do you get deals?

 

I usually do this when I go out to shoot some pool

 

You'll like that. I love my 140; it's a great little wire melter.

 

I can, it's probably about 20 percent less than what the store would sell it for. But I can't go crazy otherwise they start asking questions lol. ArcOne

Speaking of welders... landscaper backed into one of mine with a bobcat excavator... kinda pissed off. Internals are fine, as far as I can tell... but I'm not even to the first oil change. Thing is basically brand new! busted the voltage/amperage knob off so can't weld with it. good thing they have insurance! Can't see the extent of the damage in the picture but it crushed in the whole front panel and fucked the frame. The whole thing is racked. Also pushed it about ten feet in the dirt before he noticed it. Gotta say these things are friggin tough.

I usually run into someone I know from work. That place drives us all to drink!

 

I would hit up Packard's which is a 3 floor bar, 1at floor is bar/seating, second is pay by play pool and darts, 3rd floor is pay by the hour pool tables. Nothing crazy, 2 tables on the 2nd floor and I think 5 on the 3rd floor. Usually end up going with @Boston10Taco

 

I go out with my co-worker/buddy on Wednesdays just for the same reason lol

 

I'm drunk at a bar right now hahaha I love bars
