^ think about a projector swap+ wiring. DRL led swap, etc. you can see why it takes quite a Bit of time

I absolutely love this. I tried and failed. If there is anyone near the Portland/Seattle area that is willing to do this, I will pay for services rendered.

what MM halo is everyone using to fit the outside of the projector lens?
    i saw someone post 80mm.
    is that what everyone's using?

also while your in there has anyone replaced the actual glass lens?

question is what would u use?
i'm assuming it would be the
    •sti-r 3" lens

that's what's most common but i just wanna make sure.

the 3" lens is 73.5mm so i'm guessing the new 80mm morimoto xsb 3.0 halos would be a perfect fit.

my 370z had the sti-r lens with the morimoto xsb 2.0's but now i see they have the 3.0's out.

that concludes my late night drunk rambling on questions.

Ok, I am having some issues. I did 300 for 10 minutes and started on the edge that is closest to the front grille. It didnt pull apart. I then put it in for another 2 minutes at least 3 times so it wouldnt cool down. Still isnt coming apart. Help?

And you have all the screws out and tabs pulled up? Don't be afraid to put some muscle into it.

You guys need to be resealing with TRS RetroRubber. Silicone is a bad idea as it will stain inside of lens from fumes bring released

MOST important thing I think was masking off the lens.
That sucker will scratch up SO bad if you don't.
    Thanks for that tip! mesojdm

Wow, you guys make it sound like opening these headlights not that bad to do. It was ridiculous how much prying and baking i had to do. On a scale of 1 - 10 in difficulty this was definetely a 10+. Im just glad its time for the BHLM!!!!
