    The following is what happened when my wifey let me go peruse through the Toyota dealer, alone and unsupervised.

    Drove a built 2008 5 Lugger onto the lot. Drove a 2012 4x4 off.

    Oops.

    Not my fault. I turned a corner. They had a green one. It was all over.

    Had simply become time to part ways with the Reg Cab 5 lugger. Not a real family friendly vehicle. She was a great truck. Drove her for 7 years. But, time to move on.

    Only true regret about the 2TRunner was MTs. I'd do it all over again, but with a less aggressive tire.

    Much appreciated.

    Still says Tacoma, totally different world though coming from a base model 5 lug. Lots of new learning. Looking forward to some mods I missed out on having a 5 Lug. Biggest difference, so far, is the room. Knees no longer jammed into the shift console.

    Not gonna go to crazy on this one. The lift and tires were not practical for 99% of my uses, especially the MT tires.

    Did not. Thanks for the heads up though. Useless piece of crap for emissions. Chevy been using damn near identical pumps for like 15 years. Had a little go round with one on a blazer a good decade back. Anyone ever checked to see if the chevy/yota pumps/parts are interchangeable?

    Instead of the "I got a golden ticket..." song, I sing "I got a green Tacoma..." to the wifey.

    See what becomes of this one. The 5 lugger taught me never say never.

    Exciting last night though. Removed body emblems, got the front door ones painted, doors and emblems clean up, new 3M on emblems then back on. Daughter got in trouble so she got to sit and pick the OE double sided tape off the driver door.

    Yes and no. I've built 3 sets and fucking hated every second of it. You'll really be pissed the first time you get water in them after you did everything right to seal them back up. I actually got muddy water in my current ones and just don't give a fuck to take them apart for the 18th fucking time. So fucking annoying.
