Just bought a 2017 Silver Sky TRD Off Road! This is the first Toyota I have owned. I have loved the Toyota pickup since the early 80's, however I don't know why it took so long to buy one.....

I have had built up Jeep Wranglers over the years (rock crawling, camping, off-roading) but I got sick of my latest 2014 Jeep. It did not matter how much money I invested, the ride, comfort and handling just sucks. You buy a Jeep because you want a Jeep, that is over.......

It is a night and day difference with the Tacoma, I love it! The ride and quality are outstanding in my opinion. Toyota to me seems just to be a superior vehicle.

As I said, I am new here and I not ashamed to admit I do not have a clue......However I do love this truck. I have owned way too many vehicles over the last 30 years and I must say this is one of the best. My other truck we own is a 2014 F250 Lariat diesel 4x4.

I am no longer into rock crawling, but I do a lot of camping in very remote areas, Texas (Big Bend) Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. and I think this will work great for my purposes.

Looking forward to being part of the community. Thanks

    Scott

Welcome. I have had several Jeeps in my past as well (Cherokee, Wrangler JK and JKU). Loving the Taco so far. And yes the ride is much much better and you still get off road capabilities.
