Being on an HOA board is a pita. No one understands all the shit you have to put up with. My wife was on the board in our last neighborhood. They could never vote on anything because people never showed up to hold quorum. And when they did meet, it was just to talk about everyone that was in violation or not paying their dues. Then the people that do pay, bitch about their money not being used for this or that and how they pay too much and if they're paying as much as they are then the neighbor should have this or that. Except they don't realize that the HOA doesn't actually have that much money because 1) not everyone pays and 2) the money they do get goes towards agencies to try to collect from those that don't pay

Oh, everyone paid. I knocked on doors. I set up a PayPal. Repeated emails. They paid to get me to stop my campaign of terror.

I also run meetings according to parliamentary procedure and following a pre-determined outline. Boom, boom, boom, comments, voting, out. None of this 2 hours of bitching crap. We get in and get out in around 45 minutes.

    Ain't got time for whining.

    Mine would have been this:

"If you like living in a community where deed restrictions are enforced, vote for me, because they will be enforced. If you don't like deed restrictions, don't vote for me, because again, they will be enforced."

    mic drop...

    I ate it too quick.

They rang the bell when they realized it my first time. They were gentle and loving...with my meat.

10/10 will eat there again. A lot.

We need to roll up some time to the rental place across the street, park in a line of Tacomas, and tear that place up. I'm convinced.

They are too legit to quit.

That place...is almost enough to convince me to move back to the South side.

I'm glad it was as good as everybody was saying it was. I now think TacomaWorld is my new Yelp when it comes to recommending food places.
