I went with the Midland 75-882 with a tailgate mounted 3' Firestik. I ended up trimming the bracket and drilling some to get it just right.

I totally could go camping right now. Just wayyyyy to hot in Texas, sure was nice to chill down a few days in Vermont last week.

Drive to the PNW and camp here! I'm expecting temps between 40 and 70.

Perfect camping weather, even better sleeping weather. Vermont was a lil bit warmer 50-80s. Took the 'Man chub' (my 5 year old son) to visit family.

Just real quick, I'm trying to gauge interest in the cb holder. I took the name off of the one in the picture on my sketchup, but how many of you guys would be willing to buy a cb holder like this for $30? This one is made for the Uniden pro505xl and I can adjust them for other cb's too. This is a no bolt on option that holds itself in by the trim on the dash

That's a littttttle cold for me because I hate being chilly, but it'll be fine. Totally worth it.

Do it. All three of you. We can sleep in the truck. Or we'll steal the Runner and you guys can have the tent.

Watching Doug... haven't seen this cartoon since I was a kid. Roger the bully just called Doug's pal Skeeter "skeet face" lmao... good thing "skeet" didn't mean what it does today back in the 90's... or did it?

Would, but waiting for laundry to dry, then have to crash. I wonder if it's available online so I could revisit.

That's because you're pretending Houston is a respectable part of Texas. :D

There appear to be some in Leaugue City, Santa Fe (Texas) and Baytown. Those are the closest to Houston. North Texas is covered up with them.
