In December 2016, I had a minor fender bender in the supermarket parking lot. When I brought my Tacoma into the body shop to get fixed, I also had my body guy install an OEM intermittent wiper switch that I'd purchased at the dealership. I dropped the Tacoma off at the body shop just after Christmas right before my parents and I went to visit family in Norfolk for New Year's. When I picked the truck up in January 2017, I found that the wiper switch had been successfully installed but that my body guy (the one who owns the shop) didn't do it, and one of his employees had done it and not assembled the steering column casing correctly.

A few months ago, I disassembled the casing and tried to reassemble it like three times, and couldn't get the top and bottom pieces two line up. Last week, I finally threw in the towel and ordered new top and bottom pieces through the dealer. I also ordered a new OEM driver's side mirror to replace the cheap replacement mirror I bought for $40 from some random parts website (For those who do not know the story; This happened on the narrow one-way alley in front of the bar where I work; A woman in the shotgun seat of a recently-parked Honda Pilot flung the front passenger door open without looking first and guillotined my left mirror off).

Today, my parts arrived and I installed the two pieces of the steering column casing all by myself in like 10 minutes!

    Still in the box:

    Truth.

Have seen a couple articles reminding people to not have red or blue lights on the front of their cars, and no blue lights on the rear. Pisses off the ricers and brodozers allot as they are getting ticketed for theirs.

This was all brought on by some duchebag near here that bought an old LE car at auction and hooked some lifts and a siren/pa to it and started pulling women over and robbing them. Pulled over A woman - sheriffs deputy - and caught three to the chest when he stuck his toy gun in her face.

I figured your docs considered ATG, but never hurts to ask. I'll check my sources again, but I think that may have been the latest.
    Stay strong, never give up.

I like your style, nice job. That would drive me insane! I had a windshield replaced in a previous car, the mirror bracket cover never fit right after and it really bothered me, unreasonable levels.

Realizing how good this thing is going to look when I get home to put those SCS SR8's on her. They are sitting at UPS just waiting for me.

I know it's not 100%, but it's not bad for a garage spray paint job. I'm already looking into vinyl wrapping it next summer haha

If your going to drive around with your cooler on that side of your truck you need to replace your flag decal so it faces the other direction, and you also need to replace the flag decal under the passenger mirror as well.

The stars go forward as the flag is advanced in battle. Notice the placement of the flag patches on the shoulders of our men and women in the armed services.
