Dood, next time you're limping thru Toronto to get back to Windsor, reach out. During the week I'm in Brampton, and weekends on the river south of Sarina. All worked out well for ya considering but if ya find yourself in a similar geographical pickle let me know...we knew there was an issue, just not known how severe. We probably bypassed each other going opposite directions as I was heading back to TO on the 401.

For those who still didn't reroute the tow plug, do it if you plan taking your truck off-roading!
Went to the stealership next to me and they gave me a quote of $512!!!!(that's more than 5100 I am planing on doing soon)

Bought a plug at Princess Auto for $12 and tester for another $12, chopped the wires from the old one, connected them all to a new one and drilled a hole in my bumper. Did some spray paint over the raw parts after cutting, hopefully it won't rust too soon.

 

and I'm in scarborough if you're ever east and need anything.

I've been happy with mine. Just can't wait to get my lift in and everything. Finally finished all my testing for work etc, fully licensed in both construction and maintenance 309A electrician and industrial license so once I get some paperwork to submit I get $2000 from our govt. So its obviously going into the truck cause I mean, there's no other smart financial decision? Right?

 

Hey anyone want to buy a set of headlights for a 2nd gen 12-15 model. In great condition as my truck only has 30k on it. No broken tabs, no scratches bulbs included. asking $300

 

An easier way previously seen on TW is removing one license plate light and enlarging the hole to accept the OEM trailer connector.

I don't tow, so I just removed the last foot of the harness at one of the latched connectors behind the bumper.

 

I tow often so I need it & you don't even need to enlarge that area if you remove one of the lights, it fits perfectly, I tried. I didn't like how it looked, so decided to make it look like a 3rd gen has now.

 

Put these in the Canada For Sale forum.

 

Even though it looks like you installed it with a chisel and hammer, the overspray will stop it from rusting.

 

With hammer and a sickle.... Remember he's Russian.
