There's a guy down the street with a black ridgeline. It's a 2015 with that hideous Buttress thing between the cab and bed Any time I'm having a bad day when I go by his house I think,..at least I'm not that poor basted that has to drive a ridgeline.

The new design added grocery bag hooks that attach to bed rails and a new and improved "mall crawl control" for a comfortable mini van like ride.

Honestly, the only problem with it is that the front end came off the Pilot. If the Tacoma had better aerodynamics and got better gas mileage, it would look the same. People want to complain about Tacoma mpg, but what do you expect when you bolt a V6 engine to a rolling brick? You can't have great MPG, good power, and shitty aero.

I like my rolling brick. I'm glad it doesn't look like a Sienna, sans back roof.

You can always spot the non-truck/car guys who buy for the image they think a 4wd truck gives them. They are usually the ones who are all about aesthetics, talk crap about the ridgeline, have KO2's on their truck with some kind of lift/level, a TRD trim (usually OR) and always knock anyone who doesn't have 4wd yet they live down south and never leave the pavement.

The ridgeline is a great truck and does more truck stuff than the Tacoma. It would be plenty of truck for most of the people on this forum, especially those that knock it. Take a look OP if you want something that ride and handles well with tons of bells and whistles (not to mention more room) and use the bed for normal house stuff. Most real car/truck guys understand it and won't knock anyone for it.

Good points. But you can't go on a Toyota forum and expect it not to be bias. I agree a lot of people on here would probably be better off with a Ridgeline but brand loyalty is still a thing.
