Did it happen to feel like the bed was bouncing?

It wasn't particularly isolated to the bed, the entire car had vibrations to the point in which it was very difficult to keep control of the steering wheel over 65 MPH. Turned out it was a faulty tire, ever since I had it replaced everything has been good!

Got it, have something where the bed feels like it's bouncing. Has gotten better over time, but can't really figure it out. Also have Method NVs. Nice looking build.

Yes, took it back to them and was the same each time. Also took it to another shop to have them road force balanced, which they did. Still the same issue. Pops up around 40-45 MPH. Yep 285s, LR UCA and Icon 2.5 non-resi up front, Icon 2.0 non-resi and OME Dakars in the Rear.

    High-Lift Jack:
I picked up a High-Lift Jack today for a good deal from @fotornr on instagram. The guy has easily one of the most decked out 4Runners I have yet to see and sold me his 48" High-Lift Jack with the neoprene sleeve for $40. The Jack is in good shape, previous owner had it mounted to the exterior as well and it has some small rust on certain surfaces, bought some matching color rustoleum and a wire brush to touch it up. Im trying to work out mounting options for my Prinsu Rack currently. I was going to purchase this mount to secure it to the rack and use these knobs to lock it in place but I have heard bad things about the knobs breaking in the locked position and spending $100 just to mount my $40 High-Lift just doesn't seem practical.

With that said I'm most likely just going to build a mount up. I'm going to go to home depot after work and try to find a top hat U bracket that I can secure to the crossbars with some of the 1/4th locking bolts in the crossbar and then drill a larger hole for 1/2 inch hood pins that will allow me to put a small lock through the pin hole or I will purchase some lock cables from @Shmellmopwho to secure and lock it to the cross bar.

The new to me High-Lift Jack

i wanted to do a FDE wrap but i heard that wrap will be unreliable on an off road truck, that it will peel around the bottom edges from the water sand and mud

I have been contemplating a wrap since August, but honestly I might just have it painted. I just don't want to have to worry about scraping it off and cost wise its pretty relative.

paint scares me, it's so permanent...
my thought is i can peel it off 8 years later and the factory paint is good as new (actually perfect cuz it was protected the whole time)

a good friend dose wraping and tint for a living and quoted me $3k-3,500

Yea that's true, I would go with a safe color if I were to paint. But Something about the integrity of a wrap also concerns me, chandlerDOOM just scratched his wrap all up and the entire film panel needs to be replaced now since you cant do touch ups. I don't know, just torn. It would be cool to switch it up color wise and a wrap is definitely the safest way of doing that

    yeah some good points,
it's a hard decision to make between the 2

especially when u want something that's not factory offered.

either way mgm is sick and looks good matched with blk parts
