What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yakima Bedrock mounts with 66" round bars.

 

That's awesome! I like the weights at each end. I was trying to figure out a way to keep the end taught.

What hoist did you end up going with? Mine works, but there is room for improvement.

 

Not enough Chrome

 

Got the TRD Pro SEMA wheels and the AVS bug shield mounted. The SOS sliders are waiting for me at Fastenal. (Thanks Eddy) - Then I'm done. I swear.

 

What holster are you using?

 

This looks really good! The whole front end combination stands out from the normal stuff you see on here!

 

It is a ConcealmentExpress.com G19 LH holster. Im left handed and already had it laying around, and being LH, it worked out perfectly.

 

Think he answered this in post #59568 above. Although I'd love to know all the parts involved with this build.

It's like 180$ cheaper during their sale which is when I bought it and it comes with an HD tow hook as well which is like 125$ usually I'm pretty sure. I think I they have the sale going on right now too

 

I am left handed, the holster is an IWB LH holster, so it worked perfectly for how I wanted to mount it. I do pistol and carbine training 2-3 days a week (spend a lot of $ on ammo) so I have no issues having to draw it right handed.

 

Just checked and said hook is included. That is a deal for $230 compared to the TRD. Were the letters painted when you got it. Is that rear cutout easy access to the oil filter. Will order 1 after finish cutting grass. That stock "skid" is just waiting to be punctured.

 

Working on anti - crack head device for RTT. Few more plates welded around and good to go.

 

1. All I did was swap out the original switch with the CH4x4 switch. According to the wiring diagram, there is no relay. If there is one, maybe it's built into the compressor?

2. This compressor will fill up a tank no problem. I don't plan on getting a tank since I don't need power tools in the field (not yet, at least).

 

Yea I think I rather go with this brand. Love the colors and if it could be ordered customized that would be even better

 

I haven't looked into whether the oil filter will still be accessible or not with it on but the install is super easy so even if it isn't it won't be bad to take off. I'm gonna put it on tonight if I have time. And no the letters didn't come like that. It did come with the BPF stamped into it but I spray painted the letters blue... guess we'll see if it stays or not
