I like the hood mount but I'm doing the ditch light brackets. Could you mount it anywhere else?

Drill an extra hole and stick the antenna on a bracket.

Antennas need a flat plane to work well, which means your options for good tx and rx is either the hood or the roof.

If all you want is a CB for <100ft trail talk a tailgate mount will likely work, but your SWR will be shit and you risk the chance of burning your radio up. If you want miles worth of range, hood or roof.

Did your seat belts work with the T4R buckles? I am wondering if Toyota changed the seat buckle slightly at some point, as my belts do not work with the buckles on the seats.

@Speedytech7 modified the seats when he had them in his truck, just grafted the feet from a 60/40 bench onto the existing seat rails - they line up perfectly.

I had to use the buckles from the original seats, they are easy to change.

Anyone know if these will work with the tundra brakes?

I'm pretty sure there just Stock 4 runner wheels but I don't really know?

I remember what back spacing and stuff is needed for the tundra brake calipers and I also don't know how to explain the seller where to find it on the wheels....

    Thanks...

I think those are off a 4th gen runner. Same specs as 2nd gen taco, i.e. doesn't really work for our trucks unless you plan on running wheel spacers. .75" more BSing.

If you're stuck on stock toyota wheels, stick with 1st gen taco, 3rd gen runner, or 1st gen tundra wheels. All will have similar specs. Always liked the split-spoke Tundras.
