So, I did search, for over an hour actually and couldn't find anything definitive so I decided to ask.

I am looking for some Fog Light Replacements for my 2017 TRD/OR. I know a lot of people have issues with flickering and/or hyper flash when they use LED Fogs/Heads w/ LED signals. I am not planning on replacing my signals to LED, just my reserve lights, interior lights, license plate lights.

    My questions are:

    1. Is a 35w HID 4500K kit too bright or too hot for the reflective Fog light housing?

    2. Is a 6000k 6000LM LED Fog Light Kit too bright for the reflective Fog light housing?

    3. Will a 6000k 6000LM LED Fog Light Kit causing flickering and/or hyperflash for any other LED lights I plan on replacing?

I did read the LED Light Conversion thread and again, found nothing definitive.

Raised Cali or Baja Designs should be able to answer best for you and hook you up.

I wouldn't put HID's in the fog lights it will be blinding to everyone else. I tried H11 bulbs instead on the H16 mine came with and they melted the housings. I got these LED replacements: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/a...Toyota+Tacoma&preselect=&preselect_restrict=1 Easy swap out, just a couple of screws and they plug into the factory harness, no issues, and have far better light output than the OEM ones. They are 5500k.

Have you checked out the fog lights from the TRD Pro Tacoma?

+1 for the Morimoto XB, also DOT legal and have great light output. I just got mine installed last week on my 2nd gen DCLB.

I installed these a while back on my 3rd gen and love them. They match the DRL's pretty well and are bright without being douche bright.

Yes I believe the Morimoto XB are the best choice but unfortunately cash is a little low right now to be spending that much on lights so I went with these.
JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright CSP Chipsets H11 H8 LED Bulbs for DRL or Fog Lights, Xenon White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IMVQWDM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_GcbnpMz9s9IT8
They have just the right amount of light output without blinding traffic and have a pretty good light cutoff. I have tried a couple of types of LED's and these have been good to me so far.

Yea I decided against HIDs and am putting 6000k LEDs. Thanks everyone.

I will just have HIDs in my headlights.
