Orange County CAF's: up to no good

I really wanted to try these out....but i also want to try goin to 255/85/16 and they don't have them.

 

Ever have any issues with them? I do some crazy, (dumb), stuff sometimes haha

 

Cooper ST Maxx? They're available in that size and awesome tires

So i was right they are discontinued!They're great without a doubt and now i have to consider options as well.And what Mike @eccracer104 mentioned as well.

 

Suggested them because they're a great tire and more affordable than BFG.
Also available in LT 265/75-16

 

That you are, ideally if I can find some K02s at a good price I'll buy those since I trust my BFGs. Although I am looking into various reviews and tests on those Falken Wildpeaks

What's your opinion here, I know a little wider would definatley help but since I'm only going to replace the rear would that be bad? 265/70 in the front, 265/75 in the rear. I know it's not the best thing but...

 

Depends who you ask. I like wide tires, but if you get down to the nitty gritty science of it wider tires are more beneficial in mud and sand, while a skinny tire is better for dirt.
It has to do with how the tire conforms to the ground. Having a narrower contact patch creates more pressure onto the ground thus better traction.

Prerunner, it doesn't matter. 4x4 needs the exact same tires front and rear, but on a 2wd it's only crucial to have the same size tires on the drive axle (rear).
You'll look funny with mismatched tires but it won't be damaging.

I've been due but am maximizing the life out of the BFG's i have now.

 

There's not many...
ST Maxx, Toyo MT, BFG KM2, Dick Cepek Extreme Country. Might be more, those are the only that come to mind.

Wonder how old my rears are, almost 3 years with me plus how ever many with the previous owner

 

4yrs and almost 50k miles.Chewed up pretty bad from tire spin and a lot of road trips over the yr's out of state and wheelin trips.Great tire's they are but no longer available as we know.If they weren't chewed up so bad i'd probably get 55k out of them.These tire's are fantastic on and offroad.I've always been stoked throughout my life with BFG's(all terrain,mud terrain and rugged terrain).
