No internet up here. Can barely get satellite with all the trees. Extremely slow so gave away laptop to someone going to college and just use phone.

OP. I wanted to summarize what some of the folks hope you can give them with this ECU tune:

    1. Better MPG
    2. 30% more HP
    3. Adjust speedo for larger tires and smaller balls
    4. Increase the size of the drivers shaft
    5. Suck harder where the air is thin
    6. Reduce drivers weight
    7. Increase pump pleasure with regular octane
    8. ECT button to raise seat probe
    9. Spark Advance IQs to upper 60s
    10. Give a low end grunt when power is applied to the rear
    11. Increase duration of rod action

Did I miss any? Please reply.

I ordered and based on the limited info so far, it looks like drive-ability improvements will be just as good if not better for us MT guys. Taking the computer out of the equation is one of the biggest reasons I like MT and the drive by wire system breaks everything.

Like everyone else, I want as direct a connection between my right foot and the throttle plate as possible.

Exactly! I'm hoping that as we get more and more tunes coming in from different guys the tune will only get better.

I've been reading this from day one but got lost somewhere around page 40. Is there a link or code to a current discount? Or is discount period over?

    Trying to understand the process...
He ships you the OBD tuner kit, you connect to your vehicle. It logs truck info, you email it back to OP. Then he gives you a license key and you flash the vehicle? Are there other options in the software that you can customize? (like carista?) sorry for all the questions.. just deciding if this is worth it VS a Speedo calibrator+ShiftSence+Carista.

He sends a usb dongle and OB2 programmer in the kit. Then he emails instructions with drivers, license installer, and PCM software. Once downloaded you then have to generate a license code. FYI i copied and pasted the code via email. He emailed me back, asked me to save the code as a file and email the document as a attachment....the step im at now. Once thats done he then send me an answer key that i need to input. Once thats done i continue with inputting his key to generate a final key to activate the pcm software. Then its off to reading the ecu and finally writing the tune to ecu. Piece of cake!

Been saying the same shit since I got the truck last year and I've been driving MT for a long ass time as well.
It took me months to learn how to drive it smooth but gave up and realized you have to either ring it out or drive like grandpa on Sunday morning.

@Ares32 I think you missed the product registration step that will happen after you generate the final license key and send it back to OVTune (steps 5-8).

    1. Load all drivers and software.
    2. Run grdTRU and generate questions key and email to OVTune
    3. OVTune sends back answer key
    4. Resume grdTRU session with answer key load (locks software to dongle)
    5. Software generates a final license key that will be used for activating PCMFlash software.
    6. Email final license key back to OVTune
    7. OVTune send product registration code back
    8. Load code and then you can copy the ECU and send file back to OVTune.

It sounds like at leas two of us have sent in the question key in. Sent mine in Friday at 830 AM.

No im only at step 2. The answer key i sent was was not in an attachment form. I had copied the generated code and pasted it in the email and semt it. He wanted me to save it as a file and attach it, and then send. Which i have done but am still waiting for a reply........

I understood that part. When you described the process I think you left out the part about sending the final license key back to OVTune and then you get the product key back from them. Anyway nothing will happen now I guess until at least Monday.
