I had one for two years.... I liked it. Very user friendly.... but it is a Blackberry you have to take the battery out from time to time and let it re set. That;s with very bb i've ever had though.

you dont have to take the battery out you just hold left alt right shift and del for three seconds.. that resets the phone....

They are great phones. battery life is good and they are user friendly. You can get free ring tones at crackberrydotcom

The last two BB's I've had both locked up on occasion where even this wouldn't work. I got both of mine through work and wouldn't buy one for myself based on the experience. Flaky, slow and awkward to hold. I have a Curve 8830 now, same deal.

That is considered a "soft reset". To do a "hard reset" you have to pull the battery.... that's what Verizon tech support said anyhow. before they told me to start doing that I was a frequent visitor..... bb's have a mind of their own imo

All computer based phones are going to freeze occasionally.. They do have there problems but they are alot cheaper than the droid

I have a curve 8300, and love it. I have had this phone for almost 2 years, and no problems at all. I use the phone a lot. This is my work phone, and I work it hard. Great phone!

Blackberry is a great phone. I now have the 8530 have had two 8330's and had no problems whatsoever. I came from a palm and im convinced all palms must die and would never reccomend another one after having three models, as far as ease of use, applications and size, not to mention reliability the crackberry is the best.

I have the BB World Tour one and it's the best phone I've ever owned in my life.

However, Blackberrys are known to produce high amounts of radiation...

mine was slow. really slow. if you took a pic you had to wait 30 seconds to a minute for hte pic to save before you could take another one. sometimes it would take a full minute to save after updating a contact.

Had BB curve with sprint network since October 2008. Had no problem with it. I'm thinking to upgrade to Samsung Moment with Google. They are touch screen, my friend had one of those. Cool stuff.

I've had a 8300 curve for almost two years, and it has been a good phone. I've dropped it, scratched it, kicked it, and threw it, and it keeps on ticking. Good phone to sync with Outlook, get e-mail fast, and an everyday phone. Battery will last forever too.

I have a BB curve and I hate it. Personal phone is a 1st gen iPhone and I really like it. I work for a general contractor, and I worry sometimes about the iPhone durablity, but I think I am going to port my work number over to it to get rid of the BB.

The BB is cumbersome and awkward, IMO. Not trying to turn this into a smartphone debate, I just prefer the iPhone after using both for a while.

Wifey and I both have a BB 8330. Best phone I've had. Got my wife using email from her phone. No real problems.

I have a Bold 9700. 3G is the only way to go, no matter which phone you get.

I was going to get a Curve, but ended up getting the BB Tour instead. Love it so far. Have had it since November and it's only froze once.
