North end is off the road that heads to Moffitt tunnel. South comes out by that school off 119.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to get from pickle to yankee without leaving dirt. I have to look back at some maps. Unfortunately I lost all my GPS tracks I had on Gaia.

Yes i think you can connect over to Apex valley. Haven't done it before though.

I've actually only been up on pickle gulch twice for recoveries. Two other times in the snow and only made it to the big climb.

I think I can map a route through, but it's easy to get lost there. There's so many cool mines and abandoned towns up around Dakota and Oregon hill. I've spent a few weekends just on these trails

Actually Bob I decided I'm going to pass on this run. I'm leaving for Jackson Monday night and don't want to risk breaking something and not making my trip to Jackson.

Yeah Apex valley will connect a lot of things. You can hit Kingston, Broomfield gulch, and Yankee Hill and a few others in the area pretty easily. Forgot the names of the others in the area.

Do you remember how much room was at the trailhead. I'm wondering if I'd have enough room to stage the truck with trailer.
