Got my recall

I got my rearend recall yesterday did anybody else get theirs?

 

You going with the Brazillian or what?

 

Does it matter? Will you go or no go based on everybody else?

I will suggest that if your diff is dry, schedule it at your convenience, 'cause there is no hurry.

If it's damp, call and see if they have the parts in stock yet, before you make your appointment. Otherwise you may be driving a loaner for a while.

 

I've been on a loaner since June 16th and was told to call on July 15th due to parts not being released by Toyota.

Dude, I know. My truck is already confiscated for it. My post was based on there already being a 122 page thread on this on the first page. lol

I already know there was a recall. My God people I was just curious if anybody has got their damn paper in the mail ! I have no problems so far I'm not taking it to the dealer yet.

I prefer Brazillian

 

I didn't get my CPS recall letter yet. How did you get one?

 

Yeah, because all 228k of them are leaking....

 

OP - I got mine a few days ago. My first thought was how many people on TW got theirs.

We have a 2014 chevy pickup at work and got a recall notice for something minor. When I called to schedule, the service dept said "let me order the parts so they are here and you won't need to leave your truck". Although I personally hate GM products and would never own one, I thought this was pretty damm good service over Toyota holding so many vehicles waiting for part.

 

Got mine last week. This is all history to me.

 

Yes got mine Thursday, But my diff is dry going to wait a little while before going in for the Re-Torque!

 

I never got one. Could be because I already took my truck in.
