Good morning. Storm came ripping through around midnight last night. Power just came back on a little while ago. Was about ready to get the camp stove out to make coffee. Thought about driving to town to get a cup but not sure it is safe to drive until after at least the first cup. Be awhile before things dry out this morning. Think I'll just watch it dry for now. Have a great day.

Drive safe and hope the graduation\trip goes well!

I wouldn't do it through Cook county. I had planned to fly to Buffalo NY for my mothers 80th birthday first weekend in Aug, my sisters are flying her up from NC. Just ran the numbers and figuring things out and even though it is only for a 3 day weekend is half the price to drive the Taco there instead of fly. And with TSA layovers etc. not much longer time wise.

I always drive around Cook County traffic is part of the reason you know the other. Seeing how my destination is NY State however not going to even think about carry. 2 of the worst States to even consider it. Sometimes just not worth it IMO.

Made a maple bou sausage with red and orange peppers and spring onions egg scramble to feed everyone breakfast. Granddaughter hugged me and told me thanks and she loves me about ten times...priceless.

She already placed her order for the next two mornings...Sunday is bacon and fried eggs; Monday is more bou sausage and whatever. :D

    Morning Everyone:wave:

Slept in a little this morning but it was well worth it

Currently at 1042hrs its 97 degrees , clear skies , 12% humidity and a high temp today of 105deg

Today I'm going to finally finish my unpacking by getting the last few boxes in the garage unpacked . These are all for the garage anyways , also set up all my shelves and get organized in there
