Got a new edc- benchmade foray. By far the best knife I've ever owned. I have every intention to use this knife and because it is so well made I expect it to last close to a life time. While I was at it and in the moment I decided to get a chopping/ camp knife. It's an Ontario bushcraft woodsman. I only wish it had g10 handle material. Anyone out there make or know of anyone who can make these for me? Obviously I don't what to spend 100$ on handles for a 100$ knifeIMG_2345.jpg

Did anyone else go to the Blade Show this year in Atlanta? I saw some really built up Tacomas from Florida. The show was really packed 800 plus tables of knives and gear.

Just another shameless plug for the Zero Tolerance 0562. The more I beat up on this thing, the more I like it. Don't mind the graphite marks, it's been keeping my carpenter pencil sharp through a pergola project. I keep looking for reasons to step up to a Strider SNG, but I can't justify one when this thing does everything so well. Love the slicer grind, too! Doesn't make it seem weaker in the least. I heard these aren't in Elmax anymore, so hopefully I never have to replace this one!

I really like those wood handle rapala fillet knives. Inexpensive, easy to sharpen and hold an edge. Still use the one I found by the river 25 years ago.

Four of the pocket knives I have. The mini Spyderco was so cheap and tiny I had to get it..I love my Benchmade but the Kershaw auto is pretty awesome its still pretty new to me Im having a hard time keeping my hands off of it...and it the perfect size for jeans coin/watch pocket.

    Wishlist..Kabar USMC

Anyone here have experience with Kizer knives? I’ve seen what looks nice on line, at wide range of prices. Trying not to judge them on just being another Chinese manufacture so thought I go looking for some feedback.

I have no experience with them but most look to have VG10 or S35VN Steel. They look pretty good to me and comparable to China Spyderco.

Same here. I don't own anything nice. I lose knives, so I just buy ones that are usable, but won't leave me broken hearted when I lose them. I've bought and replaced the same Gerber a few times already.

The USMC combat knife was a gift from a friend who didn't want it to sit around his house unused after he retired, so he passed it on to me so I'll have something to cut my arm off when things go bad on one of my solo outdoor trips.20170702_152949_HDR.jpg
