    Bought it brand new in 2015 and this is my first time hurting her...I feel like an ass.

    Anybody do something similar and get a repair quote?

    If those are not deep I've always had success with TR3. Something I use on rare occasions for these type of scuffs and wouldnt recommend use on a regular basis. Then I wash well and wax with Maguires.

    This stuff works wonders, but not miracles.

    I don't have a pic but 2 months after buying I decided to see what it looked like without the tonneau cover. I unbolted it, folded it up and balanced it on the top rail. (Like an idiot). When I jumped off the tailgate it slid down the side of the truck leaving several nasty scratches at the top of the wheel well. All the way down to bare metal. My cheapest quote for repair was $700.00. They said the entire rear fender had to be done or it wouldn't look right. I've tried several do it yourself remedies but it still looks like crap. I'll eventually have to sell my body on the street or something and get it fixed right.

    That is about $600 worth of damage here in CA. You are lucky it is limited to just the fender flare. Since there is a natural boundary where the fender meets the flare, you may get away with not blending onto the fender. I would just pay to have it fixed and stop worrying about it. Good luck.
