Did you ever incorporate a coin holder into one of these as well? I saw in another 3D printed thread that someone was printing coin holders in this area. But I love my phone holder

I need to replace my 7+ without case with a 7+ with lifeproof nuud case

Looks pretty cool, I use a iottie on Amazon and has never let go off he windshield with my iPhone 6s Plus . The good point about yours is it doesn't obstruct your view , therefore cops won't bust your balls . You machine it out of a billet piece ? No way to remove the chatter from it ? Or is that the tool path ? (In the U Part of your piece)

Just placed my order. This is probably the most excited I have ever been over a $35 purchase. My iPhone 6+ is too big to put in any of the available spaces especially with the life proof case. I can't wait for this to come in. I loved the website and it made the process super easy which convinced me even more that I needed this.

I have a 6s Plus (which is probably a little bigger than a 6 Plus) , in a lifeproof case as well , what do you mean "is too big to put in any of the available spaces" ?

it doesn't fit sideways in the tray that this mount goes in, it doesn't fit in the small cup holder behind the shifter (my iPhone 5 did) and I don't have the cup holder insert in my truck so putting it down there it slides around. so I just put it in the coin tray and hope I don't need maps for anything

Oh , I just got a mount off Amazon and put it right on the windshield (that way it's directly in view while your driving ) lol that's why I was confused . It rotates and everything and is easily accessible for charging and also if you use the supplied adaptor for the lifepoof case for the 1/8 mini plug (listening to music)

Being a machinist , I naturally notice these things . It's not a bad thing , I just look at how people make stuff sometimes .

I've been machining for 20 plus years , doing both manual machining and grinding also cnc machining and I notice these things and I also usually spot things that I consider "wrong" with something and sometimes I really HATE that I do it . I do it to everything almost ,
From simple designs to complex lol

S.O.S bolt-on sliders, XB Morimoto fogs, bumper mounted 20" led bar, amber leds in grille("raptor" style) and Relentless fab hi-lift mount. Plastidip?
Quick question for those who already have one of these phone docks. Does your phone slide in and out of the dock easily when you go to grab it or put it in? Or does it stick to the point that you have to hold the tray down just to get the phone out?

Slides in and out easily. I believe he left room on purpose so it would go in and out no problem

Worth every penny plus some IMO

I'd like to place an order for another iPhone 7+ doc. My current one broke. I must have been too rough on it :) I need a replacement though! I'm struggling to survive without one now.

The right "arm" of my phone dock snapped off about a month ago. Not sure how it happened, but I'm thinking some superglue will bring it back to life. Sucks to keep my phone in the cup holder these days. First World problem for sure.
