Just got mine installed and I'd rate these a 10/10 for quality and value. They look absolutely professional and the mount is rock solid.

For anyone who's researching what parts to buy, you want the RAM-B-237U. There is another 1" ball with a hexagonal base that doesn't fit quite right.

Stay tuned...I've been working on Cable ADD 2.0. My original still works like a champ, but there was room for improvement.

Apologies all for the lagging in getting back to you all, I have a bunch of PM's to go through and am working my way through them. I will be able to cover most everyone on Friday or Monday.

Any more info you care to share on this? If not, no worries, I get it.

I know thats a 5 month old question, but I didn't see anyone actually explain that RAM is a universal mounting system for all sorts of stuff that uses a 1" rubber coated ball, various length arms, and various things that go on said arms. I've got a couple "X-Grip" suction cup mounts that very securely hold most any sort of cell phone, but the suction cup is the weak spot.

these adapters being discussed in this thread replace the suction base with a ball screwed to a metal bracket.

Do you have any more of these mounts, or, if not, can I get on the wait list?

Do the same arms work with the larger balls, or do you need fatter arms ?

I believe you have to get fatter arms, but don't quote me on that cause I don't 100% remember. I can check my order to see for sure if you're really interested?
