Yeah and it was a great deal at Costco.

We are happy. Also excited to have a base camp for once.

    Hello guys,
Happy to see a spot here on TW for the 4runners. My GF just bought a 2008 SR5 4X4 4runner and wants to lift it up like my Taco. I was able to get in on a GB some time ago for some kings but I don't want her having to spend that kind of money for her mall crawler. She just wants the lift for looks mostly. I know I paid a lot but after doing my research, I went with the "buy once, cry once" camp. Don't want to go that route with her.
I plan on doing 285/75/16 BFG's so I believe I will need to give her a 2 1/2 - 3 inch lift. Again trying to go budget here. What are your opinions on "tough country" lifts? Looking at getting it from 4wheelparts. Don't really want to go more than $500 if possible. Don't want to do the body lift crap either.
Any and all suggestions will be grateful.

Get bilstein 5100s all around and some OME front and rear coils and you should have a pretty good ride and quality parts without breaking the bank.

I think 885 coils paired with bilstein coilovers set at 0" should put you just under 2.5" of lift so new ucas won't be absolutely necessary.

I don't know the rear coil number, but I'm sure somebody could chime in.

I believe the rear OME's are 895's for the 4th gens, but I prefer the sway-away coils to OME's

Didn't see this. 80 bucks at Costco for the 5 man. We almost bought a 6 man Ozark instant tent from Walmart for 90 so I'm glad we found it. Plus I always prefer buying things from costco

I love my ground tent. It's never steered me wrong and it's small and doesn't make me top heavy ;)

I'm happy to try it out next week at shaver! Should be nice and I'm gonna pick up an awning for my new rack. Good enough for me :)
