I enjoy the buggy pass in the summer bekuz their are no services.. I hate life guards just as much as paying to get on the beach. I don't need a lifeguard telling me "can't surf there, you have to swim here, *whistle* you out to far". Where's the lifeguards and services when I'm surfing in February. That excuse for his family to still get entry is rediculous when there's around 5000 Buggy passes issued that enjoy the beach without services..

 

Haha they used to yell at us for getting to close to the beach from the boat. Like it's my fault the bunker are running on the shore line...

You need much more than boots

 

It's just media trolling. Instead of reporting on the blackmail tactics the legislature is using they try to upset the public with what the Governor is doing. While I don't like either side, the governor has done a lot to keep the boat afloat and on course. Have you been to the Chicago or Detroit areas in the last five years? Being stuck between New York and Philadelphia is like having trash move in right next door on both sides.

 

Gotta look at the bigger picture. While the economy grows, people move into the cities, and dollars spread back into Jersey. But when the economy tanks as it did in 08, people bail and those dollars dry up. On top, add the loss of gambling revenue and the derivatives, plus Sandy. At the end of the day people need an income and a place to call home, for most that means a job. Businesses can relocate far easier than people can, just look at Schaumburg, IL. Eleven percent sales tax, and RE taxes outpaced inflation. Businesses fled, then the people left.
