I wish I had the guts to do this. I would love to mat the roof to deaden the roof noise

It wasn't bad at all. Way scarier to think about than the actual process.

Terrifies me too! I saw your guide in the 2nd gen megathread which helps but yeah still scary. Might start on doors first, smaller panels seems easier?

No idea. I went straight for the headliner.. Next step will be pulling the seats out and going under the carpet. I will same some of the smaller panels for when I have less free time.

No I actually came from Northern California. They guys should I went to came highly recommended from my friend that also had some work done by the shop I went to. So I figured I'd just drive the truck down chill out in Vegas for a couple days while he was working on my truck

Got a set of window visors by Well Visors. Installs like an OEM visor with clips and 3M tape. Thumbs up for a great product!

When looking at your truck from the front, follow the side by your battery to the firewall. You will see a couple of wires going into a rubber grommet. When sitting in your driver's seat, the other side of it is behind some insulation at your left foot. Either poke a hole through the grommet or pull the grommet to the side and go around it.

I have a Borla catback in my cart on one site, a TRD catback on another site and today I added a Gibson catback on yet another site. Now just have to decide which one I really like. Like the Borla at $515 but the Gibson sounds close to it and is only $366. They are both only 2.5" to a 4" tail pipe. The TRD is $594 at my local dealer but don't know what size pipes are on it. I would prefer something 3" but most are only 2.5. They are all stainless. At $366 I may try the Gibson. If I don't like it I should be able to get $300 back out of it on craigslist.
