Hey @rrentrop . I'm getting my MGM OR Taco possibly tomorrow, I want, actually, I will get the 'Premium Matte Black Badge Inlay Decal Set'. I am still a bit conflicted as to tailgate letters. What type of lettering would you recommend, so it would mimic the look of Badge with Inlay combo? Basically chrome or maybe silver on the bottom and (matt or reflectice) black on top of it. I thought I saw it somewhere on mod thread, like a 1000 or 2000 pages back, but didn't save it. Was it possibly something you did?

 

You can get the exact same look as the door badge inlays on the tailgate if you purchase the Toyotaparts4u Genuine Toyota Chrome Tailgate Letters (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Toy...ash=item3ac28ffc30:g:d6gAAOSwYmZXI4Mi&vxp=mtr) and then applying my matte black inlays for them. My inlays are made specifically for these letters. Total cost is about half that of the letters that already have the black inlays.

This is the image I used when I had these listed briefly. For about $75 you get the same look as the ones on eBay going for $150.

I actually took them down from my store because an incompetent buyer got irate that he did not receive the chrome letters, even though the listing stated in several places, including on the image that they were not included. I offered him his money back but he left negative feedback and eBay sided with him when I disputed it!

I went with these. Badges rather than stickers. No regrets. They look like they are supposed to be there. 5 color options and installation was simple. I got satin black, they match the OR fenders and Bro grill well.

@rrentrop , I just ordered the black reflective for my MGM. Do you currently have any other reflective vinyls that would look good on an MGM? When I searched your site, I only saw the black.

Also, I'm curious, why did you take the reflective ones off your Limited and replaced them with the matte black?

 

I currently only list the reflective black tailgate inserts because it is not fully compatible with the other sets that I sell.

I really liked them on mine. i swapped them simply for marketing reasons. I wanted something with more 'pop' and visibility.

 

@rrentrop I'm getting my mgm double cab OR on Friday and just wanted to know your thoughts color accents for the tailgate. Obviously reflective black would be good, but would the TRD red colour look good as an insert? Do you also have the matching glove box and the bottom door panel stickers as well?

 

@rrentrop Do you make any bed decals with just the Mountains and no lettering? I have a limited and I really don't like the look of TRD but would like just the background.

 

Not at this time. For bedside decals you should contact @CBoy808.

 

I finally installed all the decals from @rrentrop , with better or worse results. May if I would drink less coffee... Oh well. Wife says it looks good (sometimes she's too kind...).
One thing I can say, I see liquid hand soap (soft soap or whatever) not Dawn dish and anti bacterial hand soap.. Makes a huge difference.
