It took me 30 seconds to install mine with no issues what so ever.

TRD cat back exhaust, rain visors, limo tent on back pasenger windows and 35 percent added to back factory tint window. 35 on front driver and pasenger side. Sport pedals, all weather fl mats, roof rack, front skid plate , BFG ALL TERAINS including spare. ALL installed by dealer.
Has excellent reception and mounted flush. Paid $6.00. It bends back when driving the same as yours on the highway but is much more durable than a metal antenna. I have taken mine through the car wash several times no problems. (Can't do that with a stock one)

Yeah, I tried each of the 4 pieces that came with it. The other 3 don't screw into the truck. I may go with the hacksaw idea if I knew it wouldn't mess up my reception.

I'm pretty sure the antenna that I have is 13' but I'd have to check on it.

As far as the bending, must have been really windy coming into work yesterday. It barely bent back at all driving home or on the way in today.

Alright, just got the "order has been shipped" email Along with it was a code for 10% off an order from their websit...10% off of a $15 order isn't much, but hey, every little bit helps these days.

    Code: eb0507

    Hope this helps/works

Here's a better look of my issue. It needs to screw in like 3/4 more threads. And it doesn't want to give...

I got one not long ago. I like it. The looks are a little off and I would almost prefer like a 20" or a little less, but it really does look good. There is no rubber on the, It's all billet. And I've noticed better radio reception because of it. I would suggest one.

The thing I hated the most was it hitting all the beams in short parking garages.

It's hard to tell from that picture, but I think you need to remove that black cylinder thing from the bottom of the antenna. My stud screwed directly into the base of the antenna. That black thing I believe is an adapter that you don't need for the Tacoma. I could be wrong.

Ive tried all the adapters that came with it and cannot get it to mount. Any thoughts?
