Sales happening right now. 9mos zero interest. Or 12 if you're a baller. At Discount. Plenty of time to pay off for that meaningless 6mo time period you're trying to convince yourself of. Do it.

    Do it now.

6mo = Christmas. That's when you need to get sliders or something.

:rofl:We have seperate finances, so I'm going to keep doing what I want. He's on board(we both have race cars and 4Runners)we are just running out of space in the garage. I'm looking into building us a shop with enough space for a lift and everything within the next year or so.

I've never seen my wife look so relieved as when the buyer pulled away with my last race car. It was so much fun but I got to the point that the incessant rule changes during the season and political nonsense sucked all of the fun out of it for me. Now, I don't even have the desire to go fast anymore.

Do not skip on the lift, I did and I regret it constantly. I do have heated floors in this one but I'd trade them for a lift if I could go back. I did take the time to plumb in compressed air lines and plugins all over the place and really enjoy that.

    Edit: Duck you autocorrect.

We absolutely will not skip the lift. Our current garage we bought a large compressor and piped in lines from our shed(where we put the compressor) through the attic of the garage and into the garage. We ran a 220 line for the welder while we were doing that as well. So our current setup is good for working on things and a mobile lift would work but we would like to be able to clean all the tool boxes and parts out of the garage so that it's literally just for parking the cars. Then the shop will have plenty of room for the tools, parts, and for us to have a lift and park any projects inside so the cars aren't sitting outside while we try to finish something.

I love to drive fast and I make a trip to COTA with Cadillac every year to beat their new cars around the track but it's hard for me to have fun down here. I enjoy autocross but traded out of the car that made sense for it and I don't enjoy drag racing as much as I used to. Curvy roads or courses is where my cars shines and where I enjoy myself. I mean I can throw down in a straight line too but I prefer throwing it into a corner and scaring the shit out of people riding with me. The boyfriend has a Viper and it's the same thing for him. They're not drag beasts but there aren't a lot of tracks down here big enough for it to really stretch out.
