Scratch that. I just bought the Gibson 618814 for $359 with an extra $25 rebate. $334 delivered free shipping from autoanything. If it sounds good then it is a killer deal. If it sounds like a suzuki 50cc dirt bike it will go on craigslist for $300. Worth a gamble. MSRP is $543 on the Gibson web page.

I had the magnaflow in my Amazon cart for a long time but went with the mbrp because it was a full 3" from the flange back and i figured for under $300 if I didnt like it at least I wouldnt be out over 600

I will take extra care removing my stock exhaust just in case the Gibson fails the test. I have read good reviews about Gibson and repeat buyers of their products. There is a new magnaflow on CL here that was used for only 1 week. Guy just didn't like the sound. I know we all have different taste in sound so can't judge by anyone else. Seems like an exhaust is a gamble on these trucks anyway.

Stock exhaust is very easy to get out in one piece, I did the same thing in case I didn't like mine

I tried to record a sound clip but my neighbors AC unit is running and it garbled all the sound. It is louder than the stock exhaust but not annoying loud. Minimal drone in the cab at causing speed. You can romp on it if you want to hear it or lay off if you don't. It doesn't have the raspy notes that some of the exhausts get. All in all I would say it's a decent exhaust.

I spent a lot of time looking. All I could find was the track version on their facebook page which is no help for us in street trucks. Let us know if you find a sound clip.

With a lot of help from a friend, I finally got my cb installed. Cobra 75wx. Power pack is mounted behind the cubby and under the cup holders in the back. Took the center console completely out. There is a panel on the backside of it that just pops out. (From the backseat it's the area under the cup holders.)There is plenty of room in there for the power supply. Also will come in handy if I would need to change the fuse. It's nice and clean. When not in use, I will stash it inside the console. My organizers still work too. I have a quick disconnect for the antenna to pop it off when not in use.

I like it a lot so far. WAY smoother, no more searching for gears, it shifts when you feel it should and it keeps power. It will actually maintain 65mph without jumping gears also which was driving me crazy. And yes I have done all of the updates from the dealer

I just wanted to take a picture of it. Too much working to do anything else fun with it lately.

First time writing on this thread... Proud new owner of a new DCSB Off Road. Today I have managed to install a hose clamp tailgate theft deterrent mod. Lol.
I also 'dipped' the grill. I know, some say plastidip is not really a mod, but still...

Just picked up my TRD ORDC MT on Friday 30Jun2017, and can't stand the chrome bumper caps. So I started on them late this evening. More to follow.

I have a set of black ones delivering tomorrow. How big of an asswhip was the removal? I'm dreading it for some reason despite all the posts and instructions on this site. I guess everything is an extra nut-kick when it's 100° right now.

Quick little Sunday mod to clean up the wiring for my ditch & rock lights. I have a Rago Fabrication relay holder in route to finish it off. This is just a temporary solution until I can justify spending the coin on a Switchpro.
