Damnit. More things to spend money on

 

How long is this sale going on for? I'd love to buy one after buying a waterport and being disappointed with its capacity. Just can't afford this kit for maybe another month

Plus I'm in Canada but have a PO box in Sumas Washington

 

They will be for sale until all 30 are sold. As of today, there are 6 for sure and possibly 7 left. I can ship to Canada directly or your PO Box in the US would be cheaper. Keep an eye on this this thread for updates about how many kits are left. I update post #1 frequently.

 

For those installing in the cubby and want a right angle off the pump for easier install... since the pump comes with 3/8 hose barb directly on the pump, the tubing must connect directly to it which wont allow you to add a right angle. Unless you cut like 2" of tube and attached to the pump then a right angle but that would likely just get even bulkier and youd have to start adding more hose clamps as well. There are pumps that allow you to add a right angle barb right off the pump but those are the larger RV pumps that are not only too big for the pocket, but also significantly increase cost and provide minimal increases for water pressure but use water more quickly. Those options were all considered during the design of the kit but ultimately ended up how they are now. If you change out the braided tubing tubing for a more flexible tube like what is used for the intake hose, that would make install much easier, but would also result in kinks in those lines which will stop water flow until you uninstall it all to fix the kink. I tried many different tubing options during the design for this reason but the thick braided hose was the only one that wouldnt kink and remained durable since its exposed to all the elememts behind the cubby and under the fender.

 

Being deployed makes me spend too much money... I keep coming back to this thread.

All US domestic kits have been shipped. Your tracking numbers should update by tomorrow morning and should all arrive before Saturday.

All International shipments wont go out until this Saturday because I have no clue if I did these Customs declaration forms right lol and want someone to double check before i drop off.

@CenCal805 i noticed your interest in the longer hose from that other thread. Just to give you some details, i dont openly offer that hose becuse of several.reasons.... mainly because i dont think itll fit nicely in the cubby with the new larger size intake line. People like having it all store away on one place so that hose would kinda ruin all of that. Also, I'm not sure i can fit it in the shipping box without smashing it. Once you get your kit you'll see its already a tight fit as it is and id like to avoid having to increase shipping costs and use larger boxes just for 5 extra feet. Those are the main reasons. The hose itself however is far nicer then whats included in my opinion. It expands much further and results in Extended lengths much greater then 5 ft more because of its design. Its also thicker and less likely to kink, but is only rated at 100 psi instead of 200psi (not that that matters for this application. I have not tested this hose before at all and dont know what affects itll have on the kit. I may pick up one for myself and use it for awhile to see how different it is and if its worth it i may offer it in the future. For now though, you can always upgrade the line in your kit by getting any 1/4" air line with 1/4" male threads on both ends and its easy to swap out. Just be mindful that the longer the hose the less pressure you'll get from the pump.

 

That's all really good info. I won't be mounting mine in the cubby anyway since I have a drawer system/sleeping platform built into the back. For this reason, I am thinking of coming down one weekend to Ontario and having you do the install for me. I will PM you and we can set something up, hopefully. I like the idea of the longer hose and will most likely be upgrading for my application. Thanks for the info!
