we did a lot to the mid range just not so much up top, we do know that up top there is still plenty of room to work.

45+ ft lbs, it is a 3.5L v6. there is only so much that can be done. The gains we were able to make in the mid range and low RPM is very big for any naturally aspirated v6 out there. This is not a V8 large displacement engine.

no you cannot get 45ft/lbs of torque on this tune. I think you misunderstood him

Subbed. interested in hearing the numbers on 87. I take trips to area's that don't have 91... hell sometimes it's hard to find 87... Look forward to the feedback from more "butt" dyno's as well. I'd love to see the numbers for a "max tune" but only because I'm curious what's possible.

@OVTune, i was wondering what kind of timeline the decompiling process of our ECU usually takes? Do automatics take longer then the manuals or vise versa? I would assume if someone sent their transmission data that would add some more time. Just trying to gauge for myself and others what it takes once someone has started the process. Thanks.

I drove a AT before buying my MT and it felt like the AT had more pep, like the gearing was lower or something.

The AT has better spaced gearing and the torque converter helps mitigate the lack of response, but the MT has better 0-60 times, likely due to the 4.30 final drive vs the 3.90 on the AT trucks for V6's. I4's are reversed, AT 4.30 vs MT 3.90.

I will have both finished tonight. 2 different versions on the auto, and the single MT. And then we will be emailing out the tuned files to everyone

MT is bar far an easier file to do than the auto, of course.

Also, I am sorry for anyone I angered or was disappointed they were unable to get to order the kit. Got quite a few emails and PM's, we are not trying to keep anyone out! So to keep it 100% fair for everyone, I re-opened it ONLY until the end of the 4th. That way everyone who wanted can get a kit for our Independence day discount. Midnight on the 4th we will close it as "out of stock" and then move forward with our plan to service all of our initial customers. I am sorry for anyone that felt mistreated by us closing it down early. We just want to make sure that we can adequately get to everyone in a timely manner. Thank you. midnight PST July 4.
