Just tried looking for apartments again... there's next to nothing in the $1200 range unless you want to live in a 300 sqft closet. Fuck California.

 

Haha dude I've been on the hunt for a while. I cant believe the prices i see. Nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment is $2200+

 

You will get your own place one day. I hear that if you live with your parents long enough, they will move.

 

Even the run down shit holes are like $2200+ if you want something nice it's going to be closer to $3000.

 

Not much better Down here. But definitely cheaper overall

I was looking in Alhambra, Pasadena, West Covina, all of the LA area that a white boy can live in, Glendale, Burbank.... I found maybe one possible option out of all those places, it was a 1 bed 1 bath for like 1250/month

 

Sorry brother ,and hang in there on the hunt.It's been that way for a 15 + yr period and unfortunately will probably continue to rise.The very first apartment i rented straight out of high school cost me $800 a month in downtown HB(small downstairs,small upstairs/2 level studio basically).They're now $1700 a month for like you said,a closet.

 

rent out there is insane! Sounds like ya'll need to relocate closer to the desert, more money for mods!

 

I'm looking in the same areas. Except for Glendale. I use to live there and it sucks. Worst drivers in the world all in one place.
