How's the moving so far @EatSleepTacos ??

 

It's getting there! I'm almost done packing, and I've been taking it pretty slow. I've only got our master bedroom left, and should be able to finish that today.

 

Will you rent a truck for the move or doing it all with your own vehicles?

 

Even better. We're hiring a team of four men to come and load it all up and drive it to the new place. I would be all for doing it myself, but we have some huge solid wood desks upstairs, and those things are HEAVY. Way too heavy for me to handle. So we'd have to hire someone to move them either way, so we're just gonna pay a team. $155 an hour for a 4 man team with a 3 hour minimum. So after tip, about $550 for them to do all this. I'm so fine with that, because there's stairs at both places!!

 

That's the best! I hate moving furniture in stairs! and those guys a profesionnals so everything will be fine when they'll be done! Excellent decision!

 

Exactly!!! I'm pretty happy with how this moved panned out. We have a 3 week overlap between this lease starting and are previous one ending, so that takes off a lot of stress. Plus it's only 20 minutes away, so I'm only packing the brunt of everything and will get the remaining stuff in our vehicles.

 

Awesome! I've only owned one house yet so I can't really tell about the stress of having to leave, but I do understand that it is a big something to not worry about! I am glad everything goes well for you and your wife!

 

Luckily we don't any of these homes, and are only renting. That takes a whole lot of stress out of it. Hopefully once we settle down we can buy a house!!

 

Look what I found while packing! Forgot my father in law gave these to me. Two .22s, a 30-30, and a pellet gun. One of the .22s and the 30-30 haven't been fired in 30 years

 

You could have just hired some taco brothers..

 

A fleet of modded Tacos going down the street would make for an awesome picture!

 

Now those are family treasures.

 

Went ahead and got a cheap little gas grill for tomorrow! We'll see how much I actually use it. If I get more into grilling, I'll upgrade eventually.

I'm real excited to use it! I've grilled a little here and there, but want to get better. That's just a thing a man should know.
