I'm running hydro bumps off the spindle with amazing results but its a lot of work to do that. I have setup trucks with bumps off the lower many times its fine but not the best option of course . If your desert running fast and hitting big stuff. Then yeah go for it. Just try to mount them so they hit as far possible out on the arm , so they have a better motion ratio and don't strike often. Use a 2.0 x2"

Anthony can you post a pic of them off the spindle please? Just curious how that is. Also why 2.0 x 2?
    Remember I don't know shit
But I was thinking bigger is better even if I had to run an internal spacer. Thanks for the reply sorry if my questions suck.

The reason for the 2in is when bumping off the lower control arm to prevent riding the bump stop through out majority of suspension travel which inevitably kind of happens in that location regardless

Even on the rear you only want to run 2.5" long stroke or 2" stroke because otherwise you ride on the bumps for too much of your travel and the other parts of your suspension that make your ride smooth won't be working for their maximum range and you'll be riding on your bumpstops instead. As far as diameter, 2.0" is pretty much the go to unless you're building a full size truck.

Here's Anthony's setup. FYI he works for the company that built his front kit, LSK - they're down here in El Monte.

I saw the build, too nice! wanted to see How the bump hits the spindle. I couldn't figure it out from the pics. The engine cage is badass!

I don't Know if I have a up close picture but its a small rectuangular pad off the top of the spindle uniball cup. But either way if you wanted this setup its major work, need to do a full engine cage and must have a fabricated spindle.

I got a good deal on a cumburg long travel for 06 taco. Do any of y'all know how glass fenders will look/ fit.

I was looking at these, price is good. I just don't want them to be too big or small looking. What do you all think or have?

The usual smallest size for long travel is 4" flare so 4.5" is barely bigger. Can't speak about the fitment. McNeil is usually recommended for fit, but I'm sure time and patience can make them fit well unless someone had some bad experience they mention.

$350 is normal price. There was a discount code you needed to enter at checkout.
