I thought A-Trac worked pretty well.........until I watched it trying to drive up 18"+ boulders/ledges in loose soil in Motino Wash.

    Double Locked FTW.

I guess it does alright in the little stuff though. :notsure::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

It worked really fucking well on the entire wash except that last part that put him next to the wall

Yeah, I think everyone in the group got some kind of damage...

    List of damages:
me - cracked tail light, damaged swing gate latch
FJ cruiser - flattened cam tab, threw out alignment, crushed plastic bumper (but popped back out for the most part)
madsteez - driver side rear panel tiger-scratched deep (and broken CV from last week)
SAS 2nd gen (took the hardest lines)- pretty sure he got some body panel scratches
    4runner - punctured gas tank

I'm sure that I've missed some

A lot of rock stacking and a couple winchings

That's a pretty nice list. I did a bunch of research after you told me about the trail. Everything said body damage most likely to happen. Scared me off.lol

The main Rowher trail we'll most likely be doing is 4x4 only but doable in a stock truck. There are some side lines you can take that require a bit more but it's not a really difficult trail by any means. Some really steep climbs/descents (depending on where you start from) and a lot of rutted out areas. I did it several times in my 04 when it was bone stock aside from using 4x4 and my rear locker.

OK, Cool. Ill probably take it easy on this trip anyways. Found out that the boot for my outer tie rod end is torn and wanted to replace that asap.
    Any Comms on this trip?

Anyone know who makes a gas tank skid for 3rd gen? Mobtown sadly does not. Not sure if RCI does but I refuse to buy anything from them anymore.

Anyone want to buy an RCI front skid, only slightly scratched. I'll re-rattle it and make it good as new lol. I think I'm getting in on that Mobtown group buy and ordering all 3 skids :anonymous: I can't decide
