    Those are almost as bad as some of the city names here in Massachusetts. These are all Anglo names but it's how we pronounce them that makes no sense.

    Worcester
    or for a real tongue twister one native American name, for the lake in the next town over, which everyone around just refers to as Webster Lake: Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

    I guess as long as they aren't breaking the law or hurting someone....then who they are and what they are is their business.

    There's no prerequisite to understand someone before respecting them and giving them the space to be who/what they are.

    Uhhh no. No Spanish influence up here. It's pronounced pew-all-up. It's the name of the local tribe. It means "the generous people."

    Funny that you mention this because I noticed weird pronunciations for things in upstate NY. Like Lowville is pronounce like "loud." I can't even remember half of them but they're never pronounced the way they're spelled.

    Actually there are some amazing vegan options out there. My best friend's sister is vegan so whenever we eat there, the family tries to do vegan options. We've made some amazing nachos with fake meat. It's really not as bad as people say it is. And because it's so common now, there's a huge variety of vegan options. It sucks, but it's completely doable.
