Just fired up the charcoal for some dogs/brats/burgers for the crew. I think I'll do up a mixture of sweet and yellow onion and maybe a grilled jalapeno or 2.

I have a feeling your brisket is worth a drive for, even a long one. And what your cooking will not be too bad either.

Been busier today than planned but not up to me, still need that pay check so trying not to piss anyone off. Yet.

Fired up the smoker half an hour ago just got up to temp or almost temp (225*). Going to throw some veggies on the grill in a basket in a couple of hours. Going to be another late supper tonight oh well have enough body fat reserves to keep me alive LOL.

Bacon wrapped vidalia onion with sriracha sauce and rub a dub spicy rub on top.

Anaheim pepper poppers with cream cheese, green onion, little smoky cheddar cheese sausages, wrapped in bacon. And more spicy rub on top.

Chicken cordon bleu, wrapped in bacon of course, instead of bread crumbs. More rub on 4 of them the other 2 had to use thick bacon so skipped it.

Should be enough food for the rest of the week. If I don't screw it up. Or I get called again, bastages. On the other hand only people calling in today are the hospitals and ER's. Guess the calls are more important.

That was a great movie. Well done. My only complaint was the music drowned out the talking.

...and save some bacon grease for cooking, and the little bits for flavoring. Sauteed vegetables in a dab of bacon grease. It doesn't take very much to add flavor.

I wish we and others were closer, don't mind cooking a weeks worth of food for myself but for some strange reason like cooking and watching others eat. I know I've done well when there are 20 people at tables chowing down and you don't hear a single person talking LOL.

Damn that looks pretty awesome to me!! :hungry: That is one of my favorite meals this time of year. Just wish corn on the cob didn't have so many carbs in it. Which is why I likely love it so much.
