Regarding your #2--- I had the new seals installed yesterday. They have a rubber bead glued into the leading edge. Supposed to fix the crosswind noise.

Have 30k on my '16 limited and love it. Bone stock for now. Definitely grabbing an aftermarket shift sensor. The truck holds onto gears a little longer than I like. Other than that shes a beast.

MT truck here at almost 11k. my first Toyota. i really love this thing. I've been working on setting it up and doing some mods and the truck has really come together. drives great, super comfy (i modified my seat), and the performance will come soon with the OV tune. reliability has been spot on so far, no issues at all. except a little creaking from the clutch pedal as was mentioned.

16k miles on my 2016, built in 2015:p

    Love the truck.

A couple issues, but most have been resolved

    1. Transmission is "okay"

    2. Diff howl decelerating/feathering at 55-60mph

    3. All of the TSBs, but have been resolved

All in all, great truck. I get some interference from the headlights in my cb radio but thats my fault lol #HIDs

I got my Pro about 45 days ago and so far I love it.

Except it only has 100 miles on it, been busy. Looks great when I walk by it.

So far have been working on fixing a few little issues that I would like done my way based on personal preference.

Removed door badges, 4X4 badge, installed HIDs, some cosmetic stuff like that. Plan to integrate it into my commute shortly. 100 miles or so a day.

It's rare that any vehicle makes me do a double take, but my cement Pro does just that. I'll overlook a couple small things like no locking tail gate etc and do what I want done myself.

It's awesome for what I want so far!

Got 430 miles on my TRD Sport. No issues. Drives well especially with ECT on. Only issue is Sirius XM only shows station number on preset listing instead of the station name. I haven't seen this on any car, German, Japanese whatever. No big deal- just a quality of life issue.

I want! I looked up that company and saw your truck on there. That was a good deal! Super low miles too.

I just realized I posted this on the wrong thread. I meant to post it in the Hilux section in the Hilux thread. But thanks!

I will say this about our trucks the finish work is pretty good considering it's a truck. My wife has an Infiniti qx60 and for the price they charge for that SUV it's a joke.

There's still plastic that is sticking out from the interior panel that I cannot remove without having to remove the panel. Also that waxy stuff that they use is coming out of places and they're difficult to clean off. I see nothing like that in my Tacoma, the door jambs are clean off any protective residue no over use of grease. I love the build quality of this Tacoma. Hats off to the assembly line in Texas.

Mine's been a good truck at 23k miles except for the engine/transmission miscues which is enough to almost cancel out all the other good things.

The differential howl is so bad on mine that I've decided that when the price is right, and I find a suitable replacement vehicle, I will be unloading the Tacoma. If they fix it before then, I will probably keep it, but this isn't a sound that comes from a healthy drivetrain.

I have/had many more issues with the truck, but this is by far the worst and there doesn't seem to be a fix in sight. Oh yea, its seeping too.

My 99 dodge ram had a howling diff 2 weeks after getting it, they never fixed it and ive got 450ish k on it and have had no issue mechanically related to the diff. Just saying it could be noisy but may outlive the truck itself.
