    Hello All!
Just completed my first mods to my truck. First of all the truck is a 2014 Tacoma Double Cab SR5 Pre-runner.
    Front-Bilstein 5100 set to 2.5.
Rear-Bilstein 5100 with toytec 1.5" Lift block kit.
Rims and tires are: Fuel trophy 17x9 with -12mm offset. Running 275/70/17 Cooper discoverer ST Maxx.

So far I love the lift, it aligned without issues, and rides smooth on south florida roads (Although I'm used to a Turbo mustang ride). The Coopers are very quiet and look really good for AT tires.
the 1.5 inch block gave the truck approximately 1 inch rake, perfect for me. Excuse the pic bed is fully loaded.

Crazy what 5mm will do. I've got 270/70/17 on 17x9 and I've never been happy with the tire width to wheel width ratio. 275 looks much better on a 9" wheel IMO.

    Looks good.

It's crazy what a small lift and a set of wheels and tires does to the look of these Tacomas. Looks great!

    o_O I don't think a 270 tire exists. Are you thinking of 265/70r17?

how do you like the blocks in the rear? I have 5100s also and have been trying to decide between an AAL or a complete new leaf pack

If you are on stock leafs, they are probably worn out.

Full replacement packs will serve you well, especially if you ever load/haul anything.

If you can afford it, go with a leaf pack. Your leafs are probably tired anyways from being a decade old.

IMO the blocks dont bother me at all! Granted its only been 3 days but i went with toytec kit and its all billet with grade 8 hardware and look good! Ive read AAL or leaf pack is way to go but blocks ride fine for me again south florida has very nice roads compared to northern states from what im told.

Gotcha. I think I'll keep saving and just go with the full pack at some point. NC roads aren't so nice haha

A Few more pics, sorry for terrible quality. The pics were quickly snapped while at work! Second one is mainly to show how a -12mm offset rim appears in relationship to the body.

    Looks very nice.

Did you find a good price on the 275's? From what I've seen, they're a bit pricier than 255/80/17 or 265/70/17s.
