I live in San Diego. Found a few dealers with little to no markup. Toyota of SD has no markup but they add stuff like side steps to boost the price. Toyota of Downtown LA has a $2k markup. I ended up going with a dealership in AZ with no markup. Less than $500 in flight and gas to bring her back.

That rear sag! Notice any change in ride quality with all the gear loaded?

    Best comment. Lol.

While I really want a PRO, I didn't want to wait ages, so I was able to snag a fully loads TRD OR 4x4 DBSB with Premium & Technology Package With JBL® Audio With Options for $2500 under invoice.

The Toyota dealer by my rents house uses this shop exclusively for their sunroof installs so the shop has been installing in Toyotas for over 25 years. They have a drop in system that they just cut and prep, but from what I understand its a pretty straight forward process. It came out with install to $1200 total for that and parts for the biggest one that would fit and most reliable.

If you are interested, I would call your local dealer and ask what shop they use for aftermarket sunroof installs as my rents both have vehicles where they had the dealer install sunroofs after they purchased due to not having in stock. This is where this idea came from, once you know the shop I would see what they can do. Mine has a 3 year leak warranty and 5 year replacement on any parts.

You be sure to let us know when you walk in off the street and buy your PRO for anything off MSRP. Otherwise we might think you're just talking shit about things you have no experience with.....

    Working on it.
I did. Went on the last day of the month back in April. Now, I am not bad mouthing anyone's purchasing decisions buy what makes you happy. But you can get a decent deal on a Pro not all dealerships refuse to deal.

I did too. Got a red one well below invoice at end of January. Sold it for more than what I paid, and just bought a used white one for much less than the first!

I'm sure you can make deals on a PRO, but before someone says "MSRP is for SUCKERS and the dealership bends you over" they should at least have the firsthand personal experience in the same situation to back up how they bent the dealership over.

For all I know he could go in to work a deal for a PRO and find himself Eiffel Towered instead.

;) <= winking smiley added so all know I'm probably joking and feelings arent hurt.
