I think they're a lot different than the 2nd gen ones. Better setup, from what I understand, but you have to press the bearing into the spindle (I think).

I'm gonna have to change my caliper as it's starting to seize up I can free it when the brakes go in but after awhile it will seize again

I'm not overly concerned with it as of yet

What brand caliper do you usually replace with? I had Toyota replace the passenger Caliper twice already (under warranty) but I figure when the gravy train of warranty runs out I won't be buying oem

I've been using the Car Quest ones. They're like 100 a side, after you return your core. My dad uses the Napa lifetime warranty ones.

I haven't priced up Napa calipers for the Taco though, and I'm not sure how many "warranty returns" the lifetime warranty includes.

The guys at Car Quest are pretty good to me, they've let me return calipers after the warranty is up. Probably because I'm in there more often than not........ hahahaha

Pain the ass. First they sent me wrong coils, so I had to return them, and wait for the correct ones. Then I booked the day off to get up to my buddies in Newglasgow to get the stuff installed, and didn't find out they were the wrong leafs til we went to install them. Waste of a day, well mostly.

Yeah that does sound shitty. It's always a pain in the ass when you get the wrong parts/don't get all the parts.

I'm off monday/tuesday next week, I'm going to Rod's machine shop to see how much it would be to cut out a bold on slider template out of 3/16" steel, This is just the frame mount, you still need to fab/weld up your own tubes ect.... Details here. Anyone else want in on this? we may get a lower price if they cut multiple pieces at once :)

*edit - I should have stated, that the sliders are for DCSB and ACLB
