We get what we pay for, apparently the $123.00 HOA fee only covers so much. I am sure my rates will be raised in the new fiscal year.

 

I hope thats quarterly

 

Monthly, it costs a lot to complain to me about my window trim and slightly off color garage door.

 

Ouch. My home that I just sold was $95 quarterly. And in the 5 years we owned the home, it never went up once. I will say they were quite the gestapo though. I got hit by them when selling for a tree stump in the BACK yard that they said needed removing. They also said my shutters were faded. $300 to have the stump ground down, and $10 for two cans of armor all spray to shine up the shutters and I was good to go. I got the armor all trick from my neighbor. He does windows and siding. He said it works for a couple years and then starts to fade. You can do that a few times before actually needing to replace or paint them.

 

I'll remember that when I get my next letter. I am waiting to see if they hit me for the brushed nickel door fixtures since I used to have brass.

Thats a clean looking car man. I had a 99 camry v6 5 speed that i miss. I am almost tempted to consider this as a DD and keep the truck, but I still don't think I'll ever be able to keep the truck.

 

If they hit you for that, then they are really too picky.

Yeah, it's amazing what it looks like once I cleaned it up. It's better looking in person believe it or not. I'm not the kind of person who just moves things along as is....I like to spiffy it up! lol

 

If your HOA is anything like mine then it also costs alot to NOT plow snow.

That last time we had heavy snow it took the HOA almost a week to get through our neighborhood. We actually had a neighbor who works at the nearby jeep dealership attach a plow to his wrangler and clear stuff out.
