oh boy! that sounds like job/financial security to me. I'm pretty sure you can basically say anything to anyone these days as long as you follow it with "just kiddin'" if it looks like it didn't go over well; might wanna keep that in your back pocket

I don't see the issue then. Either she likes you and her daddy don't, and you find a new job. Or she don't like you and you move on and get to keep your job.

I'm not playing "job on the line" game. He likes me, he's a great guy. I'm just not touching that situation with a 10 foot pole (or any smaller pole for you dirty minded individuals).

Hey...I never saw a reply about my linoleum question you flooring guru you.

 

What was the question?

 

Do you know a good way to remove linoleum from slab? I removed the carpet in my basement yesterday and lo and behold there was dang linoleum glued to the slab.

In all reality, my dad and I use to flip houses and that's was the best way to get it up. Its hard work, but it does work

 

That was my assumption too, I scraped old tile once from a business we did work for, but in my house it's like the linoleum rolls not tiles.

What's the best way to handle the glue? rent one of those floor sanders/scrapers that spin?
