I wanted to summarize what some of the folks hope you can give them with this ECU tune:

    1. Better MPG
    2. 30% more HP
    3. Adjust speedo for larger tires and smaller balls
    4. Increase the girth of the drivers shaft
    5. Increase suction where the air is thin
    6. Reduce drivers weight
    7. Increase pumping pleasure without Ethyl
    8. ECT button to raise seat probe
    9. Spark Advance IQs to upper 60s
    10. Give a low end grunt when power is applied to the rear
    11. Increase duration of rod action

A few more requests of the ECU tune just in:

    12. Tighten loose nuts
    13. Stop premature compression release
    14. Gently increase torque to bottom end
    15. Always reciprocate a blowby with a blowback
    16. Reduce drivers belt overlap
    17. Increase bore and stroke
    18. Continuous polishing of head
    19. Scavenge loose change from the seats
    20. Reduce rear end leakage
    21. Increase number of coil overs on shaft and add unsprung length

I also received the tuned map from @OVTune last night. Once I expire the remaining 87 out of the tank I will write ecu.....

Ares32, maybe use some octane boost additive from the auto parts store? Just throwing an idea your way

It is an idea, but very unscientific. There is no way to know exactly what an additive will do to the octane rating of the gas left in the tank. A 3/4 of a tank estimate could be off by at least a gallon or two.

If you can find high octane stuff like 100 or 105 locally, I'd run the tank down to half then top it off with that. It'd get you well over the 91/93 octane you need.

Yes, but you still have the same problem. You don't know what the mix actually is. It will likely be higher than the minimum needed for the tune, but any data or butt dyno results may not be representative of an actual tank of 91/93. You have the problem of needing to run out THAT tank of gas and either resetting the ECU, or driving long enough to let it re-learn for the new fuel.

Patience. He's got the right idea. Run out the tank and start fresh.

The smart one will get the tune completed, drive it for awhile without telling anyone. Then post the results...

It's an accurate representation of the thread everytime we get news regarding the tune. Basically a meme at this point.
