I changed pads at 85k. Turned the rotors as they were still alright. They warped quickly after and I put stop tech on mine. They do well and came with new pads so I have some TRD pads on the shelf with about 10k on them. Manual in the mountains for the win. On the trail it's more work but I prefer it the majority of the time

But that uses more fuel. Then the MPG's drop. Ain't nobody got time for the MPG's to drop!

Look at roundeyes.com ( i think thats the site) for some replacement bulbs. I used them on my old 97. Replaceable H4(?) bulbs and the light output was insanely better than the stock ones.

Happy 4th all, I am spending it finally back at home after 2 weeks of travel with my pup, a drink, and in the cool basement taking naps.

The vibration when braking (which was my main reason for the new rotors/pads) didn't go away until i changed the ecgs bushing. But i know the junk needle bearing being seated too far from the factory was my fault for driving too slow. :notsure:

But driving down a steep driveway/canyon while loaded with tools didn't help either.

This is what I have going on with my tail lights.

So I've had a brake light out for some time and I changed both of them today with new bulbs. When I turn on the lights the left brake light comes on. But the right brake light doesn't turn on.

    IMG_5289.jpg

Lights off, I press the brake the top light and right brake light comes on. No light from the left.

    IMG_5288.jpg

Any one know how I can troubleshoot it? Brett I did try to turn the insides of the light bulb housing and that didn't help. Like what I did last time when you helpped me figure it out.

Seriously tho. Had a small bbq with some friends from school in MT and we all were talking about how we thought the fireworks were illegal but there were more going off in my neighborhood than in my old home town.

Yessir. They had the back filled with gas soaked rags too. So you know. Poof.

Haha yea right. This is a Texas truck. They just ran wire without any protective sleeve straight from the battery to the air compressor. No fuse. No nothing. Must be a Texas thing.
