Did you and Charles get your leaky rear seals done? If you're good to go, we should definitely go check some shit out!

Yessir. Good as new. Jake just needs to wrap up the bumper. That thing smacks around with no support on the wings. Sounds awful

Yeah you gotta get that compressor in so you can take advantage of that front locker too!

Hey Jason (& @cynicalrider), just wanted to let you know I got around to sealing my passenger side tub yesterday. The slight leak was in fact coming from the upper corner. I used a caulking gun and RTV sealant (same as driver side) and patched it up. Tested it out today at the car wash and all is dry. I literally just jammed a caulking gun in that corner and unloaded, then cleaned it up with my finger (a giggidy). I then ran a bead over the remaining seams for peace of mind. Wasn't sure if you buttoned yours up yet or not but that's how I fixed it!

Just wheeled Moab in May with an Alabama group. I am planning on doing it again in October, You think there will be room for one more in your group for Rock Therapy?
I really don't want to wheel it alone.

The PM group is more for a group heading into Moab a certain way for RT. RT itself will have tons of groups to wheel with, depending on everyones experience and levels of difficulty they want to hit.

Thanks, just looking for a group to wheel Moab with, not a good place to wheel alone, I will look else where.

I meant no offense?:notsure: I should have been more specific, the PM group is a small group of first gen's looking to run the Kokopelli from CO into Moab for RT. Wasn't saying you couldn't come.

To piggyback on what Mike said, the group that has come together over PM started as us wanting to meet in Colorado and caravan to RT via the Kokopelli Trail and possibly the Rimrocker Trail. So it's more about how we get to Moab than it is about what we do once we're there.

That being said, I'm sure we'll probably run some trails together. But the nice thing about RT is that you can always find a good group that is interested in running a trail that you want to hit. For me, I love wheeling, but I'm not looking to beat the piss out of my truck or flop it. I'm there primarily to see some epic scenery. And there are plenty of great moderate trails that will do that for me. Some of the other dudes are probably more hardcore than I am, but they'll have no problem finding good people to hit the hard trails with.

Long story short, if you're heading this way, you're more than welcome to tag along. The only thing that might constrain us at this point is campsite space, but we're always down to meet cool people. Especially 1st Gens!

    Thanks, man!

I was patient and I got really lucky. It's such a great truck. My goal is to get a lot more use out of it, especially dirt miles!

It's always slower than I'd like, but things are still happening.

I dropped some money on some basic recovery gear, which was something I should have done a long time ago. And I have almost everything I need to install a CB. I just need a cable for the antenna and I should be good to go that way.

Still need to find a good location and fab a bracket for my winch contactor. Ray hooked me up with some 2AWG and I have my crimps and crimper ready to go, so that should get done here soon. Part of me wants to just knock out my dual battery setup and put the contactor and my ARB Dual on a shared bracket in the old stock battery location.

I need to start pulling together spares. I saw your kit the other day, and that's exactly what I'd like to get going for mine. I have two used rifle cases that would be perfect. One of the things I might do is put new OEM LBJs on the truck and then use my low mileage factory units for spares. I'd like to get to the point where I have a full OSK like @Digiratus posted the other day, but I'm gonna try to get a basic one going first.

Big projects like my crawl box and rear shocks are still a ways out. I might see if I can talk @TMFF into helping me do the shocks and frame boxing/plating. It may take a lot of sour beers and some cash, but it's worth a shot. The crawl box is gonna require a new crossmember/skid, as well as drivelines and shifter setup, so I'll likely wave off on that until the winter.
I'll leave the hucking to you, Ray! There's only one BBR. And besides, BBJ as a nickname just sounds bad
    See above :D

Yeah I would definitely prioritize the compressor setup.

And that's a good idea about the LBJ's, probably the only spare I won't have on me for this trip. I think with all of us combined though, we all should be pretty covered to help each other out.
