So I think I figured out why the blower fan in my pickup hasn't been very effective:

I think so too. Beside just removing everything, it really isn't hard work. Only major things are getting preload and lashing set correctly.

Totally with you, sir. One of our pups has to be on Xanax for fireworks and thunderstorms, and I hate to see her suffer, just so some cornhole can set fire to his money. Not to mention the shelters being stuffed today, with pups that have run away. The whole illegality, but not enforced, thing pisses me off as well. I posted in our Nextdoor forum last week that as long as cops weren't following up on reports of fireworks, I would be making a call to the local po-po, giving them my address, and telling them that I was thinking of smoking some weed in my front yard. When the SWAT team, fire department, and multiple squads came screaming up to my door, I'd simply reiterate that I had just been thinking about it, had decided not to, and where in the world would someone even buy pot these days? But as long as they were here, maybe they would be interested in enforcing the fireworks ban?

Of course, I'm not as dumb as I look, so I just loaded up Daisy with Xanax, and turned the TV up louder. Thankfully, the idiots ran out of their mortar shells around 11:45.

 

I just drank till i was deaf.

 

My dog hides in the closet. Went to take him out last night and soon as we got down the steps he bolted right back up. Luckily he doesn't just bolt in to the woods.

4. Different animal. It's a different engine, so you can't compare it to the transmission (since that's different too). As a vehicle, I don't have any problems. I leave the ECT off and drive like a normal person most of the time, but if I need to scoot I summon "warp speed" mode and press that sucker. Makes a huge difference in performance. But the thing is...if I wanted something that set fire to the Civic in the lane next to me I'd be driving something else. It's a truck that gets better mileage than my brother's F-150 EcoBoost V6, and I am totally fine with that.

We know whose milkshake is bringing all the boys to the yard.

 

DUUUUDE! I would totally utilize this service. I have the air compressor already I would lock the rear and add 4.56 or 4.88 gears. I want dem big tires eventually. Timing for me is based on 2 things, when they give me a bonus, and also looking at the remainder of my warranty (years...)

 

I'd be down for lockers and gears ! I was thinking of buying a full third member and have a shop swap it out but maybe I can get it cheaper having you do it

 

I thought some of the explosions sounded extremely close last night and when I went outside this morning there was a few sticks from rockets by my back door(which can't even be seen from the street)so I'm assuming the kids across the street were shooting them up over my house instead of theirs. That or the little jerk teenagers next door pulled some crap again. One of them already threw a little popper firework and hit the 4Runner(on purpose AND while standing in MY driveway)and I warned them that I wasn't playing around and I would call the cops and they could explain to their parents what happened. Every single part of me wanted to snatch that little girl up and whip her ass like the child she was acting like but I had to remind myself I'm an adult and keep my cool.

 

Sounds like I need to get my shit together and put down the initial investment then.

Have your vet prescribe him Xanax, and get the generic filled at CVS, Walgreen's, whatever. Very inexpensive, and worth it for your dog's sanity.
